This is my child’s second year at Hyacinth and we look forward to one more before we need to transition her to middle school. Hyacinth has been such a gift to our neighborhood and our family. Our child has thrived, learned, grown, been challenged, made great friends and taken on much new responsibility for her own education, well-being, and socio-emotional development. Madeleine and Carmen are a great balance for each other and their classroom. They deeply care for and are highly invested in the intellectual, physical, and emotional health of the community of children they support at school. The children go outside everyday, move their bodies while they learn, plan events, argue, work on resolutions, celebrate, dance, read, draw, experiment, and prepare for life each day.
